We generally do very, very well with late round draft picks like Ah You, as well as UDFAs like Jim Leonhard. While we missed on these 2 guys, I would still be far more concerned about our problems with high picks than our ability to spot diamonds in the rough.Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

For as many picks we have missed on in the last 10 years I can't help but think there is something else wrong. Not that any of our 1st round flops have gone on to do great elsewhere, but maybe since Buffalo is not a "glamour" town, these picks dog it from the get go, hoping to get released or at least not resigned so they can go elsewhere.
