what is the difference in strength of schedule between this years team and last year?

Last year's SOS: 0.5208 (Equivalent to opponent total record of 132-124)

This year's SOS (to date): 0.58854 (Equivalent to opponent total record of 113-79).

Note, also, though, that if the Bills' games in those records are taken out, the SOS's are as follows:
2009: 0.5083 (record of 122-118)
2010: 0.5722 (record of 103-77)

Counting teams that were actually trying to win, last year it was 118-122

This year's schedule has been waaaaay harder. Up until the Detroit game, they hadn't even played a team below .500.
