Bobby Williams played for Middle Tennessee State to start his career before leaving for North Alabama in his senior season. He is 6'3, 198 and runs in the 4.5 range.

Gailey on his new linemen

Buffalo’s pro personnel department led by Assistant GM Doug Whaley is making a concerted effort to stockpile some capable talent in an effort to give the coaching staff about a month or so of time to evaluate a lot of these players in the practice setting first and possibly in the last few games so they can determine who might have a future with the club beyond this season.

We may not have to use our draft picks next year for linemen and instead use it in other areas of need. Love these moves.

I still think we should use 1-2 relatively high picks on OL, even if one or two of these guys turn out to be capable. Look at the really good teams - a lot of them are so deep at OL that losing one or two guys to injury means they don't miss a beat (specifically thinking of NE and NYG). The Giants locked up their entire starting OL from the Super Bowl win, then a year or so later picked an OT in the second round. Can never have enough good OL.

I do like what Whaley has done lately. Get some of these young guys in now, see how they do in real game situations. Then they'll be on the team during a bunch of offseason workouts. Keep trying something until it works. Honestly, we ran the ball up the middle pretty well against a good run D, especially considering we were on our 2nd-string center and maybe 3rd or 4th string OG.
