1. Carolina (2-12), QB Andrew Luck Stanford
2. Denver (3-11), CB Patrick Peterson LSU
3. Cincinnati (3-11), DE Da'Quan Bowers Clemson
4. Arizona (4-10), QB Cam Newton Auburn
5. Detroit (4-10), CB Prince Amukamara Nebraska
6. Buffalo (4-10), DT Nick Fairley Auburn

Tough to pass on AJ Green at 6, but although he is the BPA there, the Bills take a highly graded defensive lineman where they need help the most. What does your top 6 look like as of today?

is cam newton really projected to be a top 5 pick?

haven't teams learned with russell and vince young already??

That would probably be the ideal situation for Detroit. I guess I wouldn't mind Clayborn, though I think Heyward will end up being a slightly better DE.

I think Newton would be a big gamble; the other selections are reasonable. However, I would look for a linebacker. Is picking a lb rated the 10th best player a reach?

Not sure Russell really compares to Cam besides his race...I do see Vince Young though.. he is faster taller and doesn't have the same release as Young. I also think he is more accurate.

I think Cam is risky, but I am starting to come around on him

Bills #6: Cam Newton

would anyone be mad if we took von miller in the top 10?I think it would be a reach.

I think you fundamentally have to stick to your board which spans all positions. Especially when you are rebuilding. If the goal is the playoffs or more in the next 2 or 3 years, a lot can change on your roster in that period. You can fill a year 2 need this year and vice versa.

We have to pay attention to who will be a FA and when. It's not always as simple as fill this top need at this spot. That leads to reaching.

Miller may crack the bottom or middle of round 1, but my guess is more like the bottom or round 1 or top of round 2. He has had a down year and seems to have been hampered by that ankle for quite a while.

I liked his junior campaign much more than this year. I wouldn't mind it, but not at 6 or even in the top 10.

I just don't have a good feeling about him. Too risky of a player in a draft that we absolutely MUST get right. We need DEFENSE right now.

But, I'm just fine with us drafting a defensive player instead. I'm not hell bent on any one position.
