Bills playmakers could hit big marks

Ryan Fitzpatrick, Fred Jackson and Stevie Johnson have a chance to pull off the relatively rare feat of posting 3,000 yards passing, 1,000 yards rushing and 1,000 yards receiving in the same season.

A trio of offensive players for the Bills hasn’t made that happen since the 2002 season when Drew Bledsoe, Travis Henry and both Eric Moulds and Peerless Price all surpassed 3,000 passing yards, 1,000 rushing yards, and 1,000 receiving yards respectively.

Isn't that feat only "rare" in B-lo?

The Patriots haven't done it since 1996.

That is why they need to draft defense.

I would think that is the exception. Some teams do it nearly every year. I would think a drought like that is what is "rare".

I don't think most teams do it every year.

Teams on track or have already hit those marks and their offensive rank:

                Houston (5th), Giants (3rd), Cincy (21st), Atlanta (12th), Philly (1st), KC (10th), Pittsburgh (19th)

5 of 7 likely playoff teams.

                    That's...

251 more yards for Fitzy, aka 125.5 per remaining game (doable)
57 more yards for Stevie, aka 28.5 per remaining game (easily doable) and 8 more receptions for an even 80 on the season
189 more yards for Freddy, aka 94.5 per remaining game (Very, very tough against the Jets/Patriots) and 4 more rushes for 200 rushes on the season.

I say... Bomb it to Stevie twice at the beginning of the game and let Freddy pound it the rest of the way. We'll work on Spiller next season.
                    Bye Bye Brady...
