View Full Version : Brady going for another record on Sunday...blech

If Tom Brady opens up Sunday by throwing 17 passes without throwing an INT he will set the NFL record for most consecutive pass attempts without throwing an interception.

This record is currently held by Bernie Kosar with 308 straight, Brady enters Sunday at 292.

Here's hoping this is one record the Bills can stop from occurring!

Ironically enough Kosar set the record when Belichick was HC in Cleveland.

Just some random info and something to look forward to stopping on Sunday!

INT by the POS in the second quarter, after being hurried by Moats and Williams.

Brady should have had 3-4 INT's against the Packers and Bears. I still can't believe Woodson dropped that easy one early on.

How great would it be for a Bill to have a career day in this game against the Pats*? Kyle Williams- 3 Sacks, 1 fumble recovery, 1 INT to the house.

I'm sure the announcers and sideline "reporters" will downplay it if he does set the record.

Didn't Joe Ferguson once hold this record?

"you just don't see Tom Brady perform like this. tom Brady doesn't let up against inferior opponents. Even god has trouble waking up some mornings. Let's pretend the good stuff buffalo did today didn't mean anything."

I totally see what you're talking about.

Ferguson still holds, I believe, the record for fewest interceptions in a season (one) based on a minimum number of attempts.

I don't recall him getting close to the consecutive passes without an INT, though.

Yes of course, Bellichick is known to secretly spray WD-40 on opposing players' gloves.

Would that surprise you if he did?

The Pats* will clinch the division & homefield advantage with a win as well. Let's spoil their party.

More likely scenario: Whitner drops an easy pick 6 on Brady's 16th attempt, gets burned for a TD on the record breaking 17th attempt.

Op then has aneurysm.
