According to Don Walker of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, the Green Bay Packers and Green Bay city officials are planning to meet next month to discuss the possibility of a naming rights deal for Lambeau Field. "The citizens of this county voted to sell naming rights, and we owe it to citizens to go through that process," Green Bay Major James J. Schmitt said, citing an advisory referendum in November 2000 where 53 percent of Brown County residents voted in favor of selling the stadium name.
