Report: KC Chiefs' OC Charlie Weis to become the new offensive coordinator at University of Florida.

Wow, back to college as a coordinator, not a head coach.

That's weird. No doubt he thinks Haley is a *****, but surely some NFL team would make him their OC.

That's been scrolling on ESPN for the last 3 hours.

Gainesville has a better climate than KC and you work half the hours in college. If the $$ is close, it's a no brainer.

Josh McDaniels could be coming in as the next OC for them.

Maybe we can coerce Crennel out of there.

Speaking of the Chefs, all of their wins have come against non-playoff bound teams. And if the Chargers and Jags lose, which is possible, they won't have beaten a team with a winning record this year. But they'll be in the playoffs (just like the "winner" of the NFC West will be).

He must have fallen in love with the lifestyle that college gave him.

Even after the first KC-Denver game when Haley thought McDaniels ran the score up and wagged his finger in his face instead of shaking his hand?

Well at least he's staying in the pros. the only difference is that the pros at Florida get paid less.

A s a Notre dame fan I have to say Charlie is hilarious.. At the end of his tenure at ND he *****ed and complained that he was much more appreciated and respected in the NFL than college and a year after being back in the NFL he goes back to the college game.. But maybe he couldn't tolerate working with Haley anymore or vice versa..

You got to admit the spotlight on ND is pretty intense. Any coach that takes on Michigan, ND, USC....is gonna get laserbeam scrutiny and criticsm. He couldn't handle it..most can't.

The thing is the talent level he gets to recruit for Florida compared to Notre Dame is unreal. This should help these recruits that are wondering what Florida is doing with the O Coordinator job....
Huge hire for Muschamp.....

So, let's review.

This is, what, the fourth offensive coordinator in a little over two calendar years for the Chiefs? Apparently someone there is extremely hard to work with.

NOT THE DUDE...
