No.

I'd rather take a shot on Gabbert or even Locker if the three of them are around in the second.

Every time I saw him play I was not impressed. He doesn't come across as having "it".

QBs I rank in the following order...

Luck
Newton
Locker

He was who I wanted to start the year watched a few games like his arm but I feel the system

I am starting to grow on newton but that pick could set us back big time and u know Ralph won't want to give him the time to mature

I say go d first pick let's see who slips

Locker regressed this season. In almost every stat. Besides mobility, how is Locker better?

No thank you.

Big arm+small brain+no mobility= not interested

I just remember watching an Arkansas game earlier this year where Mallett got knocked out of the game and the backup came in and threw for like 4 td passes. Mallett certainly has got an arm but could be a product of the particular system he is in. You can really say that about anyone though.. just food for thought.

I'd rather have Mallet over Luck.

Actually I believe it was the Arkansas/Auburn game in October.

Backup QB didnt win it for them, but still had a helluva game.

Brett Favre was plenty mobile. Sure he slowed down late in his career...but during his glory days he made (extended) plenty of plays with his legs.

Except Bledsoe was better.

The lack of toughness is an Issue with Mallet..Plus there are questions about his character that will come out soon .. Just wait.... I will be watching to see how he holds up against Ohio St....

I've liked Mallett since earlier in the year. I wouldn't take him with #3 overall, but I would trade back into the 1st round for him.

Mallet is a cheap version of Drew Bledsoe. No thanks.

Mallet is Drew Bledsoe Jr.
Bledsoe had a decent career. He WAS the last QB to lead this team to a winning season. If he's the QB of the future-- I think I can manage.

For once I will agree with you.
Mallett does not fit Chan Gailey's system at all......

TCU's Dalton looked impressive in the Rose Bowl. He has the size and the stats. I hope he competes in the NFL combine.

Brett Favre would be Dan Marino Jr if it weren't for Reggie White and the Packer D.

I'd rather have somebody who's last pass every season isn't a terrible pick in the last game or in the playoffs.

What's funny is that Dalton was somebody that was barely if ever mentioned around here. Now after one game, people like him?

And yeah, Petrino strikes again as far as inflating a QB's stats. Just ask Brohm about how good a QB can look in a Petrino system.
