3rd Round (67th pick) = 255ptsBERNIAC!

Re: Move from #3 to #1
according to the trade value chart, the first overall is worth 3000 points, the 3rd overall is 2200; so we theoretically have to trade picks equalling 800 points. Our 2nd is worth 550 and our third is 255; so that would seem to get it done. an alternative would be our 2012 1st would also probably get it done. That's a lot to give up for a team with a lot of holes, but, if Luck declares I'm all for it. DL and OL holes can be filled via FA, a QB like Luck, not so much.

Re: Move from #3 to #1
To me, you can't look at it on moving from 3 to 1. Yeah, I wondered what it would take to get there. But put the player's name in place of the pick. If this guy turns out to be a solid forget-about-the-position (or more) QB for the next decade, why would you not trade a measley 2nd and 3rd rounder?! Sure he could be a bust, but everyone thinks this kid is pretty much can't-miss. Plus, you've seen what Sam Bradford did for the Rams this year. A solid, franchise QB can make a lot other areas look a whole lot better. And also, you can't deny this regimes ability to find players in later rounds or UFA (scouting) and putting them in position to maximize their talents (coaching).
This is a no brainer. If that's all it would take, then I'll be the first person to rip the Bills for not pulling the trigger and getting this thing done.Infrequent poster, daily visitor.
