I figured I would make one of these since we have 3 upcoming games with possible QB targets in Luck, Mallet and Newton.

Could have made one for Gabbert but I knew my Hawkeyes would make him look like a chump!

Here we can break him down and nitpick him into a 3rd rounder.

Mr. Miyagi

Would you post the bowl game times for each game? Thanks.

Here's why

1.) the NFL stands for? the you Never ***nknow League

- number one picks have been traded several times
- consensus #1 players have been passed over several times
- two teams, not one, passed over Matty Ice for a Lineman
- 6 teams passed over Adrian Peterson for...no one in particular
- one team was stupid enough to pass up Bryant All Pro Mckinnie, for Fat Albert's FATTER brother

2.) College Football is winding down, so for those NCAA fans among us..we're going to watch good match-ups regardless of the Bills related ramifications.

Should we do this as well for Pat Devlin's game on Friday v. Bo Levi Mitchell?

ZB's for anybody who can tell me who Bo Levi played for before EWU without looking it up.

I should be rewarded with zonebucks if I even knew who Bo Levi Mitcheel was, or what position he even plays.

Which I don't. :ill:

He's not checking off as much as you might think. A lot of it is for show and to try and out think the D.

Same thing Manning does in Indy, maybe 1/4-1/2 of it is really him changing something.

I've been charting his throws and personnel.

Targets so far:
6 to WR
5 to TE
2 to RB

Stanford's used at least two TEs 44% of the time (they've used OL in place of TEs, but I'm lumping them together).

VT isn't a big or physical team so they are going with a heavy look like John Harbaugh uses in Baltimore to overload the strong side and beat VT down physically. Working well so far.

I still question if he could play in the North East myself. Aside from a 40 yd throw down the middle of the field, his throws have been the short throws like Trent Edwards makes all the time.

I think he will be better suited to play in Carolina than Buffalo & will not cry when they pick him #1. I was more upset losing Rothlisburger to the Steelers than I will be about missing out on Luck.

He has the arm, his short throws are a product of the offense Stanford runs.

Still don't like his deep ball to the outside, didn't throw any(?) in this game, but if you watch him against ND/Oregon you'd see it as well.

It's the only knock I've found, it probably has more to do with protection than anything. His line isn't great at pass blocking.

Waste of a pick, as we saw with Owen Schmitt years ago, no team spends picks that high on FB when they are literally jsut as good as the guy you can call off the street.

And we certainly don't need a backup FB. I just looked at the upside of him on ST's and the possibility of having him be a backup LB'er. I was a bit impressed with his ability to shed blocks and make tough tackles last night as a LB'er. But I do agree that he should stay at FB.

Dont be overly impressed with it, its VT, they aren't the most fundamental blocking team ever. Look at how much pressure Stanford got and they dont even have a real pass rusher.

Like all rb's.
A. Foster, L. Blount, and F. Jackson all free agents off the streets.
Why again do we use the 9th pick on a rb and better yet don't even use the guy. That's pretty sharp.

You don't base your drafts success on the first year. Marv Levy said it best, the best rookies are last years rookies.

Come back in 2 more years and let's revisit. You may still be right, we simply don't know yet.

You dont want to play that game, you'll lose because the numbers arent on your side. You're using exceptions to try and prove a rule that doesnt exist.
