Buzz is now heating up that Fins owner Stephen Ross wants Jim Harbaugh as his next head coach, and it's believed club brass is particularly down on Sparano after his team didn't come to play in Week 17 against the Patriots. It also can't help Sparano's cause that players are now speaking out against him.

He will be fired but I dont see Jim going there. I think he goes to the Niners or if the Mich job opens hes going there.

Harbaugh fits that description and, unlike some other big-name candidates, would not need to bring his own personnel people with him. Harbaugh has some ties to Dolphins general manager Jeff Ireland and likely would be more willing to work with him than he would be some of the less-established entities in the front office in Denver and San Francisco.
Harbaugh also could work with Miami defensive coordinator Mike Nolan, whose unit is coming off a strong performance there.

That wold be so good for you Dolphins fans!! I would be so happy for you.

If I associated with any Dolphins fans, I would call them and talk all about how cool this is.

The unfortunate truth is that I don't openly associate with people dressed in teal and orange that smell like fish...so I'll have to enjoy this little bit of Dolphin news by myself.

The best part is that you guys thought you were good. We may have had a bad year, but your were supposed to be on the other side of the "rebuild."

Well, back to the drawing board!!!!!!

A league source tells Profootballtalk.com that the 49ers may ultimately not hire Trent Baalke as GM, and instead opt to pair Michael Lombardi with Jim Harbaugh as general manager and head coach.

"Lombardi and Harbaugh have a close relationship," the source said. "I think Lombardi is ending up there." Baalke was initially expected to be hired "within 48 hours" midway through last week, but it was never announced. Lombardi and Harbaugh also spent time together in Oakland, when Lombardi oversaw some personnel decisions and Harbaugh coached quarterbacks. It's a match that would likely be much more appealing to fans.

I personally doubt he goes to the Dolphins, but anything's possible.

IMO, whathever team hires Harbaugh ( miami or SF) will be willing to pay carolina whatever it takes to trade up and take Luck.

NOT THE DUDE...

its very possible that miami lands harbaugh.

1 great area
2 great young talent except at qb...
3 miami might be willing to give up the farm for luck...
