School president expected to speak with board before responding
Facing problems with a proposed three-school expansion, the ACC changed directions Wednesday and asked Virginia Tech to consider joining its list of potential new members.
In what was described as "an informal meeting," the revised plan was presented Wednesday night to Virginia Tech President Charles M. Steger by Georgia Tech President G. Wayne Clough, an ACC source said.
