    Julian Peterson to be released

He's 32, but at the right money, I'd like that move.

Does Merriman and an emerging Moats make us have no interest?

He might be gettable at 4-6 mill per and is an upgrade to Ellison and Torbor for sure.

    He's a better 4-3 LB than a 3-4 guy, imo.

I'm reading that too. Though this seems to say he's got some experience in both.

If the price is just as a long in the tooth backup, why not? Maybe the versatility helps us in our multiple set approach.

Yea I could see it, just saying if our base approach is still 3-4 (and I think it will be) the price will have to be very low for him to sign here as a situational backup.

He's a lot slower than he used to be. I believe he's had an achilles injury, and at least one serious knee injury.

I agree with John, this guy is nothing but a name recognition now. Pass.

This guy will replace Jason Taylor in New York next year.
