All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
At this point I want to see another game out of Newton.
I am not at all interested in Mallett, I think Gabbert has a long road ahead of him running a real offense.
Jake Locker to me could be Kyle Boller 2.0. All the measurables w/o the QB IQ.
Newton to me is the wildcard. I have only seen a game or 2 of his though and I am very much looking forward to seeing him on Monday night. If he doesn't pass the character test for our front office than I would rather go D.

Peterson was very unimpressive tonight. I have no clue what was up with playing 25 yards away from his receiver like he was 65% of the game. At one point, it kind of looked like the QB was fairly comfortable going at him. I've only seen him play this one game, but he looked nowhere near Revis to me.
We should take a run stopper and a pass rusher before we consider any CB.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

"You're not going to find a more classier, down-to-Earth person away from the field than Marv Levy. He's a guy who's pretty much made me what I am today as far as a professional player and a person."

Tannehill is making him look average with some pinpoint throws.
Anyway, I am sure the guy is good but corners are not game changers.
You are going after 1 game.......
The guy is a stud.
Best CB in the nation by far.
Don't judge how he plays in 1 game, watch some highlights of him and you will be impressed....

Kyle Boller and Jake Locker is the worst comparison I have ever seen.
Jake Locker kind of remids me of Steve Young.....
