Im sorry but I think Poz is acc a pretty decent LB. Lets build the front 7 around him and Kyle and I think we have something special.

He's doing a foot fetish short with Rex's wife. Then things get nasty.

Maybe that's why the ILB's coach was the first to go.

"Hey Poz, if a hole opens on two sides, flip a mental coin. Heads, go left, tails, go right. Doesn't matter about cutback ability or general common sense, just do as I say."

Might help when you have guys like Bart Scott and Calvin Pace playing next to you.

It would also help if he didn't have 5 holes to choose from.

Pretty funny to see people that fawn all over Mayo and Harris when Poz has better metrics the last few years. I guess the grass is greener on the other side...

Anyone want to guess how many MLBs had 100 tackles and forced 6 turnovers last year? Yeah, about 3. Poz was one. Don't worry about adjusting for the transition in defenses this year. I'm sure Poz was happy playing with dudes off of the street all year since Andra Davis got hurt.

Probably had nothing to do with his lack of impact plays. Nah... couldn't be.

Not that this means anything, but I find it funny that Poz is probably the most popular Bills player when you actually go to games, but on the internet there's all sorts of people that never played above JV criticizing his play. It actually makes me laugh out loud.

Don't bother using fact, everyone knows we have dozens of pro talent evaluators around here. Poz's average yds allowed per tackle made smokes Mayo's, wish I still had the ESPN article. All the dude needs is someone around him, a thumper, one man can't carry a starting LB unit 4 across.

If that's the case, we never should have gotten rid of London Fletcher.

Stats don't show drag down tackles after the runner already gained 6-8 yards. It's opinion based on eyes wide open, not blind allegiance.

I just dont understand why everyone wants to get rid of our best LB who can only get better with better talent around him. Makes no sense to make another hole on the defense when he is a decent LB

We have a serious talent problem on the front 7 surrounding POZ.

Chris Kelsay and Aaron Maybin are thinking the same thing.

'Metrics' is how we end up with guys like Whitner, Maybin and McCargo.

A few want to ditch him, a few think he's much better than he is. Most understand he is what he is, average; think he should be re-signed to a fair contract; and needs some real LBers around him.

100 tackles, all ten yards downfield. A poor man's London Fletcher.

Theres a stat that tells you all 100 tackles are 10 yards downfield??? Damn they are good at keeping those stats. That or you have no life and are able to slow down every game and record them yourself. Either way someone has no life DAMN

BTW London Fletcher has had a few great years in Washington and he makes plays behind Line of Scrimmage. 3 sacks, 1 int, 3 FF 136 tackles. 3 straight years of over 130 tackles.

Actually, the "metrics" I was talking about included average yards beyond the line of scrimmage the tackle was made.

That's the thing, which is also what people will refuse to recognize, is that he's talking about METRICS, not base STATS. A lot of people will dismiss them due to a lack of comprehension, or because it doesn't fit in with their armchair "expert" view.

ESPN had an article showing Poz's average yds allowed per tackle and how it was near the best in the league in 08 and 09. Wish I still had the link.

I want to keep Poz and add Harris next to him. Makes no sense letting Poz walk and then trying to replace him.

Its ok.. Dont worry about us trading UP to get Poz in 2007 when we could've stood pat and got Davis Harris anyway.

I love this team's drafting minds.
