Saw him play a few times. Nice runner, straight ahead style. Would have went in the first few rounds had he not gotten hurt and missed his senior year.

In 1964, the first two players from UB made the pros. Willie Ross RB (Buffalo Bills) and Gerry Philbin, DE, an AFL Star performer for the New York Jets. Philbin was quite a good player in his day.
