    Rob Ryan

I just read Ryan will not be retained by the Browns. I would love him as DC of the Bills. What do you guys think?

    Re: Rob Ryan

I think he would be a major upgrade.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

I bet he would love to coach in a division that he goes against his brother twice a year.

I'd take him over George Edwards.

He's likely to not be retained, as per Tony Grossi.

Grossi is a hack and Ryan is still under contract though.

It would surprise me to see Ryan stay as I think the Browns will likely go to a 4-3 defense.

I doubt they would want to pay a LB coach DC money.

lol...Didn't know his first name was 'Remus'. Pretty appropriate for how our D played this past season.

Ryan's unit also contributed to one of the best scoring defenses in franchise history in 2001, as the Patriots allowed just 17 points per game and produced Pro Bowlers Willie McGinest and Tedy Bruschi.

If Ryan created Jesus Bruschi, does that make him God?

Not sure if it is true or not but I heard he has never had a defense ranked in the top 20.

In 2003, Ryan's squad helped the Patriots defense rank first in the NFL in fewest points allowed 238 while ranking seventh overall in the NFL in total defense.
