Not so shockingly yet another game proving the theory. Pittsburgh torchin em downfield due to Rothlisboogers play, and gashin em on both the offensive and defensive LOS.

I was hoping Mendenhall would forego the out of bounds and try to bulldoze Revis on that long sideliner.

This proves we should draft LSU CB Peterson and ignore the lines again...Wait...

They have picked Ben twice

2 picks are nice, the 24 points that they helped give up before the end of the third Quarter, not so much.

It was 17. They scored a defensive TD. And They haven't given up a point in 2nd half

Are you watching the game? Or looking at boxscores? Because if you were actually watching the game you would clearly see that they are a non factor in this game.

Revis completely shut down anyone he was covering. Hines Ward was invisible.

What are you talking about? They shut down the steeler offense in 2nd half is all I said.

And you know what that stellar play got the Jets? An early vacation.

Secondarys are secondary. Both Lines and QB are primary.

Jets lost the game cause of the pathetic performance in 1st half. Any form of offense in 1st half, they win game. Hell if Sanchez doesnt fumble on that TD before half, they likely win too.

I think they peaked during the Patriots game. Maybe next year Gang Green.

The point which you missed or disagree with is that the secondary/Revis which a lot of people rave about isn't of primary importance in team building. It usually isn't.

The Jets secondary most certainly failed in this game. And even if they did ok in the second half of the game (although when they were needed to make a big stop they couldn't) it wasn't enough.

Don't forget about the running game. It was instrumental in keeping Pittsburgh's offense on the field.
Rothlisberger was ok, but he did nothing special. He was able to extend plays by staying mobile, but other than that, without Mendenhal this game might have gone another way.
