Pittsburgh is a more appealing destination than Buffalo due to their ability to run a team for 75+ years.

Actually, the Steelers became a successful team in 1972 after years and years of fielding horrible teams. Since then, they've had their ups and downs, but even after a down year, they've bounced back quickly. 38 years of fielding competitive, and Championship Teams. That's pretty impressive alone without embellishing it. When I was a young lad, I knew the Steelers as perennial losers. Alas, my team can only dream of the success of the Steelers since.

Not a small market team, but very small minded fans.

The best thing that ever happened for the Steelers franchise.

Good ???
I would say Yes and NO.....
Small market YES but a very rich franchise.
When you have a NFL team winning in this age you get people that jump all over your bandwagon.

Pittsburgh is, I believe, #24 among metro area populations. Smaller than most, but bigger than Carolina, Cincinnati, Kansas City, Indianapolis, Tennessee, Jacksonville, Buffalo, New Orleans, and Green Bay.

Love or hate them, you have to respect what they have done since 1970.

It's ownership, plain and simple.

Ownership committed to winning.

as soon as The Old Fart sells, we might see some winning again.

And a lucky switch to what was, at the time, the easier conference.
