None of them can even sniff Suh's jock. Some of you are going to be disappointed if you are expecting a Suh like player.

Best player available, regardless of position. A 4 win team can use improvements anywhere.

Don't compare Peterson to Darelle Revis. The best corner since Deion Sanders

c'mon forward..

these utterly ridiculous comparisons are just starting to gain some steam... once we get past the SB and thru the combine the comparisons are going to be coming in by the gross

I sort of disagree with you.
Nick Fairley was as dominant any player I have seen this year.
He was a nightmare for opposing SEC competition....

Don't get me wrong SUH is a beast and a great player.
But I think Fairley has shown he is 1 of the best DL.

In this draft class, yes. But people who are expecting a Suh like force, are expecting way too much. Suh is a once every 10 year type player, maybe once every 20. He's Bruce Smith/Warren Sapp combined.

Suh was the best DL prospect since Reggie White

Fairley is just as good if not better than Gerald Mccoy

Green > Jerry Rice

Every year, people see 1 minute of film on youtube and declare that player the 2nd coming of God. Jimmy Clausen anyone ?

There is no Suh in this draft but Fairley,Dareus & Bowers are nice consolation prizes any team would like to add to the roster.

Nope...you can never start filling holes if you go by this philosophy. It sounds good in theory, but in reality, it doesn't work. Especially when the talent at the top of the draft is not very different. Therefore, you go with top talent at a position of need...especially when you're picking 3rd in the draft.

Gerald McCoy was not as dominate of a College player as Fairley was...
That is a very bad comparison.

Well everyone knows Joe was a 3rd Rounder so even more reason to not take a QB in Round1.

If Peterson is selected in the top 3 he will have to out play both Revis and Sanders to justify that high of a pick. JMO

As I said a few weeks ago when this first came up, comparing any of these guys to Suh is a slap in the face to Suh. None of them are even close.

You are most likely right. Suh is a SPECIAL player. How do you think Peterson compares to Revis & Cromartie?

Oh, yeah, Ndamukong Suh is so great he can't even hit an extra-point.

How did the Lions do again last year? 6-10? Yeah, another losing season. Some greatness. Vick turned his team into a playoff contender the moment he was installed at starter. That's the impact this team needs.

So you are saying the Bills need a QB that will take 9 years to develop into a good QB? There may be a couple in this draft.

Dude, seriously...Philly made the playoffs 8 of the previous 10 season without Vick, including 4 conference championships and 1 Super Bowl. The very last thing Vick did was 'turn his team into a playoff contender'.

The Bills haven't been in the playoffs for 11. What's your point?

My point was that Vick was not a good QB until this past year & was drafted in 2001. There are a few QB's in this draft that could also develop in that amount of time.

The Bills haven't been to the playoffs for 11 years, whats 9 more? Lets make it an even 20.

I said in another thread that Id put Peterson in the top 15 of all CB's in the NFL without even playing a snap. That's how highly I think of him.
