What the **** is this?

Florida should be stripped of their hockey teams. This is so amateurish and unprofessional, yet again, so are the Florida hockey teams.

It's not great but it works. Much better than those stupid "Bolts" jerseys they wear now.

And that opinion coming from a guy with "tampabay" for a username is slightly biased, but I get what you're saying.

Lightning have had success in the past, but southern teams like TB, CAR, FLA, and ATL especially, don't seem like great hockey cities.

Understandable. I'm a bit of a traditionalist and always was a fan of the original logo, plus my dad always said it'll always be the true Sabres logo since it has both a buffalo, and sabres.

I understand I'm a bit biased since I grew up with the goat head. I drew it so much as a kid I memorized how to do it.

The red and black will be special to me, especially the last year of use in 05-06 when we shocked the hockey world and SHOULD HAVE made it past them ****in' Hurricanes...

Anyways, I think we can all agree the slug was the absolute worst logo in our history.

Agreed...but at least the colors were gold and blue. Had the goat head been g&b it wouldn't have been as bad.

Sabres fan and YES I live in Tampa now...
It is silly to say they should just strip hockey from Tampa........
The South are not great Hockey cities at all......
To be honest the SOUTH in general are terrible sports cities anyway.......
