From Walterfootball.com

1st: Patrick Peterson (CB) LSU
2nd: Colin Kaepernick (QB) Nevada
3rd: Allen Bailey (DE/DT) Miami
4th: Casey Matthews (LB) Oregon
4th: Jason Pinkston (OT) PITT

Quite frankly this draft is pretty good IMO. However he has Mallet and Locker falling to the 2nd, so I would like to see on of them there. Allen Bailey in the 3rd because of his bad senior bowl, but he is a freak.

The first may be true, neither are considered elite prospect.

Notice every player he has us picking was mentioned in one light or another last week. He mocks based on whatever the media reports, not based on actual scouting and due diligence.

Much like most here.

It's funny how they stumped for Clausen all last year, called every team that passed him a fool and now lead their draft "analysis" post pick with, "well, maybe he isn't a leader...."

Wasn't that something mentioned wayyyy before the process last year?

I thought Casey Matthews looked small when I saw him play. Maybe he can add some weight, but he doesn't really seem to fit that bigger LB mold that Buddy and Chan want.

The only realistic pick is Peterson. Kaepernick in the top of the 2nd? PUKE. Bailey won't be there in the 3rd I don't think. Matthews is okay I guess. Pinkston in the 4th? Surely he won't make it out of the 2nd round.

Wouldn't surprise if Bailey is there in Round 4.

Pinkston may be there in Round 6 or 7 at this point.

I'm a fan of Bailey and I liked his non-stop motor. I think he goes in the 2nd round.

This draft does not to much of anything to improve the run defense.
