Brady, who also won the MVP and Offensive Player of the Year awards in 2007, was voted the award by a nationwide panel of 50 media members who regularly cover the NFL.

Also a unanimous choice for the AP All-Pro team, Brady had a string of 355 passes without being intercepted during a season in which he threw 36 touchdowns against only four picks..........

There was really no question this season. He absolutely deserved it.

I'm so sick of him kicking our ass. Can't he just retire tomorrow and go straight to Canton?

Can't argue with it.

Will he ever hit the free agent market? That is the question.

Will he ever hit the free agent market? That is the question.

Sure when he's washed up and useless.. that's when the Bills will make their move and pay him $200 million

I don't want us to get him...I don't want him to get hurt...I don't want him to wash up and retire...

I want to beat him when he is still considered Superman. As I do every year, I'll hold out for the series sweep next year.

He is due for free agency in 2015.

I'd rather have him win the mvp than the Super Bowl

Do I agree? Yes. He deserves it. Did others deserve a shot? Should have, but then again, shouldacouldawoulda.

Am I happy for him? No.

Are the reasons that people are giving (he did so well with just rookies, he did it without Randy Moss, yada yada) worthy? No. Tom Brady is Tom Brady. He is a phenomenal quarterback, he will find the open receiver, and he's in a good system.

You don't need to give him any reason to be the best, because he is arguably the best.

God I hate Tom Brady...

Wow, not one single vote for Vick. Surprising.

Wow, not one single vote for Vick. Surprising.

He faded badly the final 3 weeks of the regular season if memory serves me.

I dunno, IMO Rodgers should have been in consideration for the MVP. He carried a team on his back that was decimated by injury and finished job through the playoffs and SB. Brady was only valuable enough to be watching the SB at home.

Rodgers was valuable enough to get his team to the big game, win that and the MVP of the game.

That is the most value in my book, especially at price he is being paid.
