All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
This is only a test
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?
I really don't think this hurt our playoff chances at all. These guys were bit players who were unlikely to make the team anyway, particularly if we have a good draft.

Sarcasm aside, it does look like we're doing some offseason cleaning up of the roster, which is a good thing.

yeah, it's almost like the new regime used last year as a tryout for a lot of the guys that were holdovers from the previous regime. It's starting to seem like they are more concerned with trimming the fat and making it "their" team now than they were previously.
And how I feel about that depends on the results it yields. On one hand, it seems like it's delaying the rebuilding process for a year. On the other hand, it may have allowed decent players like Parrish and Steve Johnson to save their jobs.
i had no idea either player was on the team . i guess you have to cut a couple players to make room for the corto contract. no doubt that will leave us in cap hell for years to come. probably won't be able to sign our #3 pick.
Ugh. Now watch them both go to the Patriots where they turn into major players.
I think Woods came from the Pats.

Anyways, eh... I was kind of hoping Woods would work out, at least on special teams/bit. I like what Op said, and any smart fan would realize what is going on (yes, I just called Op smart, and it wasn't sarcasm. Sorry to feed his ego).
Trim the fat, pick up players who MIGHT work out, and with the abundance of IR and roster players we have right now, we can weed through the BS. In my opinion, it's what "building through the draft" is part of. No major FA pick ups, but possibly good/try out players.
for a team with terrible OLBers and the need for vet depth i dont see why releasing Woods at all.. he is a better ST then corto and provides depth at a position of weakness for us
