I have noted, however, in mocks refered to in the www.walterfootball.com (http://www.walterfootball.com) mock draft database that there seems to be a pretty solid consensus naming Fairley to Carolina at #1 overall. Of course, everybody else could be wrong too. Carolina isn't telling anyone yet who they'll draft.

The Panthers have the worst DTs in the league I would be shocked if they dont draft Fairley. Charles Johnson is a good DE so DT is a bigger need. However, if they dont go Fairley I do see them getting Bowers.

Fairley is a 3 technique he is not a 5 technique and I will not be happy if he is our pick.

Other than that good job, just don't like Fairley and doubt he will be our guy since he is a one year wonder.

The one red flag that really makes me hesitate on linemen (and anyone, really) is work ethic, and I'm seeing Fairley's questioned.
