If you’re like me chances are you look back at the last ten seasons and realize the root of the problem with the Buffalo Bills wasn’t a lack of ability, coaching, enthusiasm, heart, spending or talent. It was clearly a fashion issue. Breathe a sigh of relief folks it's official… the Buffalo Bills are changing uniforms.
The information about the switch is highly guarded. However the team has not left us completely in the dark. This is what we know:
The charging Buffalo is the logo moving forward. I find this appropriate, since the standing Buffalo is more accurate depiction of the 2001-10 Buffalo Bills.
The helmet will be changing back to white. And the uniforms are inspired by the 70’s uniform design (http://www.uniwatchblog.com/2011/02/10/exclusive-details-on-the-new-bills-uniforms/).
We also know Shawne Merriman thinks they’re pretty sweet (http://twitter.com/#!/shawnemerriman/status/35442611279896576). Onto why you’re reading this article. We here at the Billszone want to know what you would like to see included in the new uniforms. So we’ve created the Billszone Uniform Project. We will be posting multiple polls in our Buffalo Bills forum (http://www.billszone.com/fanzone/forumdisplay.php?f=2)asking our members what they want to see. In a few weeks we will have our very own concept of the new uniforms. Join the discussion and let your opinions be heard. I have Stickied all the threads thus far in case you've missed anything.
