Oronde comes around

Kill the fatted calf. The prodigal son is coming home.
Deciding the grass isn’t greener where there is no green, wide receiver Oronde Gadsen swallowed his pride and signed a one-year contract with the Miami Dolphins this week. But far from being a cause for celebration, the return of the Big O has some fans saying “uh oh.” And that’s sad.
Gadsden has a five-year history of mostly reliable play for the Fins punctuated by some spectacular catches. Unfortunately, Fin fans’ fondness for Gadsden has evaporated in a year marked with injuries, season-ending surgery, acrimonious contract talks and, finally, a whirlwind tour in which he peddled his services to almost every team not wearing aqua. He had no takers, and he at last decided to swallow his pride and sign a contract for the veteran minimum.
