to the 26-27-60 rule?

I know he's got a 63% completion percentage.

I don't know how many games he's played.

Wonderlic won't happen until the combine... right?

the first thing you need to do is check the size of his hands.

He's probably going to hand in someone else's wonderlic test anyways..

Very poor taste in avatars,

stay on topic...

sue me for not trusting someone that wants to tax us for future benefit... especially when he may not even be in office when those benefits are supposed to kick in.

Taking stuff to literal? You liberals and your terrible sense you humor. Anyway, if you want to discuss politics, go to the spin zone.

Bottom line - all politicians are scummy. People latch on to a party and their guys way too blindly.
Now back to the thread at hand... Cam started 14 games at Auburn and I'm pretty sure it was 12 games at Blinn.
So that would be 26 games started.

http://www.cincyjungle.com/2011/2/2/1970455/the-26-27-60-rule-a-formula-for-drafting-quarterbacks

Players who failed at least one part of the formula includes Ryan Leaf, Joey Harrington, Michael Vick, Akili Smith, Tim Couch, Daunte Culpepper, David Carr, Vince Young and JaMarcus Russell. Sam Bradford was the only quarterback in last year's draft that aced all three in the formula with Colt McCoy coming up one point short of the Wonderlic. Tim Tebow and Jimmy Clausen also failed the Wonderlic portion.
And with any simplistic formula, there's always exceptions like Brett Favre, Donovan McNabb, both of whom scored below 26 on their Wonderlic scores. Matt Leinart played over 30 games, scored a 35 on his Wonderlic and completed over 63% of his passes.
Also, I see his completion percentage as 66.1.

Started 14 games... Appeared in 6 others... Never lost a game he started or appeared in.

To many wackos out there that could take your avatar to heart,

did you just call yourself a wacko?

You seemed to take it to heart.

I'm sure you wouldn't want to be partly responsible for getting the man killed, (or at least I hope not)

the only thing he wants to kill is an 18 inch sandwich.

Really? Arguing politics?? Jesus that's more pointless than the QB/Defense draft debate. It's all pointless.

the only problem here is I was asking a legitimate question about a possible Bills QB of the Future, and someone had to mention something about my avatar. Get over it, stay on topic, it's not going anywhere.

I like your avatar... It goes very well with some of the portraits they made of Bush.

Not any more... my 18 inch slaying days are behind me.

Last time I'll chime in and my apology to folks for wandering off topic,

This is a sports forum, not a place to air your political views

You're the one who made it political by making a comment about my avatar, and an assumption that I may or may not want to see our president assassinated.

right on... to get to the point, I would love to see us get a QB who can and will be our franchise QB of the future - I don't care who he is... but above even that, I'd rather see to it that we nail our first rounder with the best possible player we can get at a position of dire need who not only can contribute and upgrade his postition, but WILL CONTRIBUTE and UPGRADE his position.

Right now Blaine Gabbert would be top dog/QB prospect when it comes to the 26-27-60 rule.

Jim Kelly and Dan Marino scoring in the 15's on the wonderlic has to make you wonder a little If sometimes athleticism and courage/mental toughness under pressure trumps wonderlic scores.

I don't know if 15 is all that bad when guys have scored as low as 4.

Vince Young scored a 6 his first time on the wonderlic, 16 on the second,

Young would finish his Titans career with a 30-17 win /loss record over five years.

I wonder if all players get a 2nd chance at the wonderlic or just QB's that score in single digits.

Good question, seems like I remember reading somewhere that Jason Campbell took it 3 times.

Doing badly the first time probably sticks with you forever though,
