WGR reporting a few minutes ago on their sports update portion of the show that the bills will be hosting BOTH SANDERS AND ATOGWE today!

Most of us know about sanders but I guess both are coming today.

SIGN THEM BOTH

SIGN THEM BOTHI don't know about Atogwe, he's in DC right now talking with the Redskins. Unless he comes in later, I don't see it.

Atogwe should be the #1 prize... I'd stay away from Bob Sanders unless it's in a show me what you got left in the tank kind of contract - 1 year max.

I think they should have a no holds barred steel cage match with Whitner.

The winner gets the opportunity to fight Pat and become the undisputed heavy weight champion of Twitter.

Confused isnt OJ a FS? or does he play both?

Confused isnt OJ a FS? or does he play both? He is a free safety. It wouldn't surprise me if he signed with the Redskins, they have Haslett there, one of his former coaches, and an owner known for big spending.

So... Byrd moves to SS? Scott/Wilson starts at SS and Byrd only comes in on passing downs?

Word has been mum out of OBD today. Usually CB will let us know when a player leaves.

How do we get bigger and stronger in run support when neither guy is over 6' or 220 pounds?

I wouldn't mind either, but they don't fit Nix's comments.

Just sayin.

the safeties shouldn't be the first ones to contact the runner anyway, need bigger linebackers

But personally I think a healthy Sanders, or Atogwe can be an upgrade so I'm for it.

Yeah, Nix has said the Bills need to add Inside LB's.

I think I'd be ok with Von Miller - I wanted us to take Patrick Willis the year we drafted Marshawn Lynch... I wish we would have kept Lynch, but if we would have grabbed Willis, our D would have been 2 places better statistically against both the run and the pass, and he probably would have still been here.

Willis was drafted one spot before our pick

Yeah, I know... I was so pissed when San Fran snatched him up just one pick before us.

I'm pretty sure he wasn't talking about the secondary. Come on X, you're better than that!

havin OJ here would help out, draft Von Miller, resign Poz that helps the LBers, round 2 draft Kyle Rudolph the TE from ND gives us a real TE and 1st since JR

I'm pretty sure he wasn't talking about the secondary. Come on X, you're better than that!I think you're right and that he was addressing that more directly. I merely extend it to the secondary as well.

Antoine Winfield is only 5'8" and was a beast in run support.

Atogwe signs with Washington for 5 years, $26 million.

I would have hoped we would be able to give him 5 million per year...but a 5 year contract is a little lengthy. Not even sure he made it to Buffalo to visit. Oh well, a lot of people will be disappointed with this.

Probably wasn't interested in a visit. No fault of OBD's.

It seemingly sets the market for Whitner at below that number since Atogwe has bee more productive, though he is older.

Don't see Whitner getting his 7M, regardless of age.

Well the last time he was healthy was 4 years ago. Considering the average NFL career is 3.5 years, that is an NFL lifetime ago. I think the chances are much greater that Merriman stays healthy than Sanders.
