In case you guys wanted a point of reference:

http://www.unc.edu/~mirabile/Wonderlic.htm (http://www.unc.edu/%7Emirabile/Wonderlic.htm)

Many QBs going from 2006 back.

Kelly and Marino each had 15's...

I'll say Newton pulls a 12

I am surprised at how many people think Newton will score high in the wonderlic. My question to you people is if he is that smart why did he get caught cheating 3 separate time at Florida?

You would think someone that smart, could cheat without getting caught, let alone get caught 3 times.

He should do fine. Football intelligence doesn't reflect character. But, if he is going to get drafted by this team, he better score high. My expectation for him may be an unrealistic 34, but that's the bar he has to hit to impress me. Ryan Fitzpatrick scored a 48 on it, and did the entire test in under 10 minutes. JMO

This thread will be pretty disappointing if Newton's score is never revealed. Then again, knowing how much the Newtons love publicity, they'll probably "leak" all sorts of things for analysts to discuss.

If Newtons score is never revealed, you can bet it is LOW.

they'll release the score one way or another. No way does it stay secret

Greg McElroy scored a 48 though and then tells the media he is more NFL ready then Newton...

You can bet if Newton scored well, team Newton would have informed the world by now. I will bet he scored pretty low.

lol, I think Greg McElroy scared everyone off doing a Fitzpatrick on the wonderlic.

Can you imagine having a starter(Fitz) and a backup (McElroy) with that kind of brain thrust,

Mercy!

Not sure why people correlate IQ with getting caught cheating. Very Intelligent people sometimes don't have common sense at times or get lazy.
