All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

We better ***** take him. Don't mess around with the Newton Peterson BS. Dareus is what we need, plug up the middle next to Kyle Williams and let our LBs and DEs pressure the QB. Suddenly our sack total will go up, even Maybin will have a chance to be better, our CBs will suddenly cover better, and Byrd will return to his 9 INT type rookie season.
Knowing that, and also knowing that the Bills are planning to run a sort of hybrid defense, I don't see how he isn't a perfect fit here in Buffalo. It seems to look like he would be our best option at 3 if there. There's no way we take Peterson over this guy. JMO
Hopefully Carolina totally falls in love with Newton, reaches for him at #1, Fairley/Green/Peterson goes at 2, then we're all set.
I may be a little off on this but I still think Peterson to Denver at 2 is still possible and shouldn't be overlooked even though they resigned Bailey. I'm thinking Champ Bailey could be seen as a sort of mentor for Peterson. Having a veteran on hand with that level of talent and experience would be invaluable to him.
As far as Carolina is concerned, they would be really stretching their necks out by taking a QB from this years group with the number 1 pick. I see them going defense with the top pick. I think they would probably be our biggest adversary when it comes to Dareus. If they take Fairley, I think Dereus will be there at 3. JMO
Dareus is the ideal hybrid. He can get it done as the 4-3 DT or the 3-4 DE. Plus, I can't see him not being there at #3. Right now, if we had to put percentages on it, I'd say he has the greatest chance of becoming a Bill on draft day.
Though I like Dareus at 3, I think Bowers (people seem to be forgetting about him) looks like he has an even more rounded game. Stout against the run, 15.5 sacks, size and speed.
I do not think we go wrong with either of those picks.
