We had bernier too. Line 1 draft stock. Line 4 talent. At least he helped us get Ballard.

Totally different player, OP. Boyes is a solid player, but you're right, who knows how he'll fair the rest of the season.

I'll enjoy what's worth enjoying. Anyone can score one goal (well, except Special Neids).

You guys crack me up. If Boyes had failed to score and I started a thread complaining about him, everyone would be on my ass saying "it's just one game- give him time to adjust." But since things went well once, no need to wait, right? This is how it will always be, right?

All I'm trying to say is that it's too soon to get too excited. And if Boyes had played poorly, most of you would be saying the same thing.
