Not only did Gabbert prove his atheleticsm at the combine, but also his intelligence and composure. He ran a 4.62 40, a 10.0ft broad jump, and was flawlesss in the interview.

Who would you rather have sit on the bench behind Fitzy for atleast a few games, maybe a season, Cocky Heisman winner Cam Newton, or Intellingent, lot to prove for having been taken so early, Blaine Gabbert? To me it seems Gabbert would actually take something from the valueable lessons Fitz has to offer. And unlike the Run First Newton, Gabbert canread a defense, read the blitz and coverage, and deliver solid, accurate throws consistently. Sounds awful like a franchise, playoff winning Quarterback this city has been dreaming of for over a decade now.

Again, assuming he has a decent pro day..


Oh, and Bills should deffinitely make a move on AJ Hawk.

nix has been around and probably helped draft many good qbs in brees, manning, and rivers.

If he feels he can become a franchise qb, then pull the trigger at 3, got to hope buddy has learned something from all those other guys

any news on whether or not Buf interviewed him at the combine? I imagine they did but didn't see any confirmation. The weird thing that sticks out to me is only 16 td passes last year. Red flag or a product of the lack of talent around him??

There is no great reason for any of this year's QB's at #3 IMO.

I'd rather take the chance on Mallet, Andy Dalton, QB, TCU, or Pat Devlin, QB, Delaware in the 3 or 4 round.
