Move both Phoenix and Atlanta and let the Anglophones and Francophones fight over who gets which one.

More Canadian teams+ fewer southern teams= better league.

Let's just say Atlanta does move to Losapeg, how long until the NHL thinks they should expand a team in Atlanta. Gary Bettman would say third time is a charm.

I'll bet half the people that live in Atlanta don't even know they have an NHL team. That is a complete joke of an organization. They should've got the hook a long time ago.

Phoenix is another complete joke of a franchise. Hockey in Arizona?? Yeah that'll work Bettman.

Bring hockey to markets that WANT hockey!! Winnipeg & Quebec had great fans, great jerseys, and I personally, would love to see them both back in the league.

It has been talked about but I don't think they are on a short list or anything. They would need a little work. Where Winnipeg already has a new arena, and a fanbase supporting the AHL team. And whoever said loseapeg can go f@ck their hat.

why DID they leave Winnipeg anyway? I always thought the movement of franchises was terrible in some cases. I mean leaving Minnesota and going to Dallas?

The weak Canadian dollar at the time was the major reason. The were paying out salary in american money and at the time bringing in revenue at 65 cents on the american dollar. That is a recipe for disaster to begin with. They weren't selling out but the still were getting 12-13 thousand fans every game. Double and triple what they get in Phoenix.

Also in part due to the management team that was attempting to build a new arena couldn't work together and mismanaged their time. Winnipeg raised 12 million dollars in funds out of a town of 600 thousand people. They even told us that we saved the Jets. There was news paper headlines, buttons and stickers and everything. Then they couldn't work together, missed all their timelines and the team left anyways. Major heartbreak.

If they come back I will be the driver of the Jets bandwagon.

Ah yes Teppo. Old school Jet. However, Phil Housley got Selanne 76 goals. It kind of worked out but I kind of died inside when they traded Dale.

Not too many Jets left. Khabibulin, Doan, I can't think of anyone else.
