    New offensive coordinator's role growing
    Flowery Branch -- For 22 years as an NFL head coach, Dan Reeves has had the reputation -- fairly or unfairly -- of being his own offensive coordinator, even when there was somebody on his staff with that title.

    Perhaps that perception is about to change, at least a little.

    When Pete Mangurian, 48, was promoted from offensive line coach to offensive coordinator last winter, taking a title that that was unfilled after running backs coach George Sefcik retired following the 2001 season, it was not a token move.
