Re: Vanek OUT tonight
Soooo who did we replace Vanek with?
I'm assuming Hecht is a healthy scratch, Grier and Kaleta hurt?“You hold a players only meeting and get each guy to stand up and say what he can bring to the table... and if he doesn't, you punch him in the face.” ~~ Harry Neale, on how to fix the Sabres season.

Re: Vanek OUT tonight
Adam has been at wing recently in Portland and may start there tonight on a line with Brad Boyes and Drew Stafford. Paul Gaustad-Tim Connolly-Jason Pominville and Mark Mancari-Tyler Ennis-Nathan Gerbe also skated together this morning. But knowing Ruff, those combos could be scrapped in one rotation so we'll see.
That was in the Buffalo News morning skate.
That leaves Neidermeyer, McCormick, and Mark parrish, but Parrish never was a 4th line defensive player in his 13 years in the NHL. He used to be a good goal scorer.Last edited by PTI; 03-08-2011, 12:59 PM.

Good exhibition game...let the kids go out there and play their asses off - maybe somebody surprises.
For all the education and practice each of us undergoes, the achievment of mastery is ultimately the outcome of a personal quest for understanding.
