They aren't going to keep a 3rd ILB for 7 million. I think we should be interested. He is definately an upgrade over Davis.

There's a reason GB has 3 +$7M ILB's... It's because 1 of them is no longer capable of starting. Stay away IMO!

Debatable, if Merriman can come back he would be better. In any case even if he is better than any LB on the current roster is he worth the kind of money he will want?

There are going to be a number of quality FA available this year, it may be better to save that money for a player that deserves it.
