I'm going to go with a bold prediction of 5-1 Sabres. The hurricanes just seem to be imploding. I think they are essentially finished and this game may just be the death blow. The highlights i've seen they left cam ward out to dry. The sabres love the pretty goals in situations like that. They will have a field day. and they usually clump a 4+ goal games together.

It is not that it is OK, but we realize it is not the end of the world either and that the other team plays too.

and if they win in regulation their lead increases from 4 to 6. You never know if Carolina will finish 1 point ahead of us.... or maybe the Rangers tank and Carolina goes on a tear and that 1 point ends up being the difference between 7th and 8th.

I never care about giving up the extra point to WC teams, and realistically, some teams (Philly, Washington) are so far ahead of us that we won't catch them, and some teams (Ottawa) are so far behind us that they won't catch us. So the extra point doesn't matter.

But when it comes to Carolina, it's too late in the year and they're too close to us in the standings to allow the extra point.

Actually you are right, I was thinking I guessed 3-1 when I guessed 3-2...Op gets a points...over 5 goals away and nobody wins...Op and I were 4 goals off....FTW.

I had two that were available too. Sad part is that I didn't realize that I had the tickets until near the end of the second when my daughter told me that she had one of the Carolina games. Just threw that money away.
