Kerrigan was a four-year star as a Boilermaker, recording 209 tackles, 55.5 tackles for loss and 37.5 sacks over the course of his illustrious four-year career. That includes an outstanding senior season in which he piled up 26 tackles for loss and 12.5 quarterback takedowns. The 6'4", 267-pound senior impressed at the Combine with a 4.71-second 40-yard dash and smooth workouts in positional drills - even at linebacker.

Looking like they are planning on adding at least one LB at both OLB and ILB.

I would guess two of the first five picks are going to be LB's.

Wouldnt surprise me if there were 2 LB, 1 DL, 1 OL, and a S.

I'm not sure I'd be surprised at anything except a RB. They're obviously looking at DB's in addition to linemen. Though depending on how high the overdrafting factor is, I'd expect to see a QB in the first five picks.

They need them, though I would take Dareus at #3.

Kerrigan is a safe pick IMO. I think this a kid that will produce right away as a starter. People thought he wasn't that athletic but he proved them wrong at the combine with his speed and power. Also looked smooth in drills.

He didnt show me anything at the combine to suggest that he could transition well.

Yep I think he helped answer the 3-4 OLB question, of course nobody knows until/unless he gets a crack at the position. Looks like a solid LOLB type.

NOT THE DUDE...

the bills are working out kerrigan, brooks reed, and von miller, i think this might show that we are in fact taking a pass rusher olb even though buddy said we were ok at olb...

He answered questions about his athleticism and speed. That was a huge hurdle for him in proving he had versatility.

Very Doubtful. His production and showing at the combine would be too hard to pass up especially for a 4-3 team.

Could Kerrigan fall to the 2nd or not likely?Interesting question because the Bills interviewing him may mean they think he will. He's really not in contention for the 3 pick. At this point, I think Bowers (even with the knee), Jordan, Watt, and possibly Clayborn go before him. And that's without adding in the DT's that could play 3-4 DE. I think he's right in there with Heyward. I could see a drop to 34 though it would seem he would go before that to me.

Hey if he falls to 34 win win for B-LO......
Peterson, or possibly Dareus at 3 then Kerrigan....
I would be happy with that 1-2 punch...

There are lots of scouts out there who don't believe Kerrigan can make the 3-4 transition to OLB. Far too stiff in his hips for lots of people. I fall into that camp.

I remember on this site some people were saying he was a top 10 prospect....
I never saw it but remember reading and laughing about it
