BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) -- Having survived bankruptcy and the threat of his team folding, Darcy Regier can finally get to work on rebuilding the Buffalo Sabres.
The team's general manager will get his first opportunity at this weekend's NHL Draft in Nashville, where the Sabres not only have the No. 5 pick, but approach with a renewed sense of direction under new owner B. Thomas Golisano.
