Super Bowl ring snub drives Toliver

TAMPA, Fla. - T.T. Toliver has a bittersweet feeling about his chance to make history in the ArenaBowl. The wide receiver/defensive back can become the first player ever on teams that won a Super Bowl and Arena League championship in the same year when he takes the field for the Tampa Bay Storm against the Arizona Rattlers on Sunday.

Toliver, who spent the latter part of the NFL season on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' practice squad, is thrilled about the prospect - even though he's miffed about not receiving a ring for his contributions to the Super Bowl champs.

"I'm really disappointed about that," said Toliver, who was told that he wasn't with the Bucs long enough to receive one of the $16,000 diamond-studded rings players received during a lavish ceremony last weekend.
