Give me a break with all this "there are no superstar qbs in this years draft" talk....Fact is no one knows...chances of us picking again in the top 3 next year is unlikely....we have been bad for 11 years now and picked in the top 5 once.... You grab your qb when you are in the position we are currently in.Comment

2 things can happen when you gamble all in. 1, You can end up looking like the smartest man in the room, break the bank, and leave a very rich man. 2, You leave with a bottle of Bourbon and a bus ticket home to sell your home to pay off the Bookie that you now owe the world to. Then there is the alternative, never gambling in the first place. Sure your not likely to go broke, but you won't ever win either. That essentially is the level of decision that has to be made with this class of QBs this year. You could win large, losing could cost you your job, and not taking one at all just leaves you in the same rut your trying to get out of.
I think Clint Eastwood said it best when he said " I know what you're thinking. "Did he fire six shots or only five?" Well, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement I kind of lost track myself. But being as this is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world, and would blow your head clean off, you've got to ask yourself one question: Do I feel lucky? LOOK. WE NEED A QB, WE HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO TAKE EITHER GABBERT OR NEWTON AT 3 THEN TRADE BACK INTO THE TOP 10 AND TAKE THE OTHER ONE. WE SHOULD ALSO DRAFT THE BEST QB AVAILABLE IN THE 3RD AS INSURANCE!.Last edited by jamze132; 04-04-2011, 06:47 AM.

- All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp.
