About .5 seconds later McCormick steamrolled that hurricane.

That was an awesome save.. i watched the highlights was CAR's announcer and I enjoyed his call of it as well as RJ's which I currently cannot find.

a shot hit him in the head and dislodged his mask, he motioned to the ref he couldn't see but then he eventually just threw it off so he could see and made an amazing save....this all happened in like a 3 second span though. pretty epic

which is a real worry. if the refs put away the whistle and let crap like that which happened in the Boston series to occur again then it will be a quick out.

It happened with Tuukka this year and they blew the whistle almost immediately. The puck wasnt that close to the goal though.

Btw, look at the vantage point of that referee.. how did he not see his helmet off? I think the refs were so-pro carolina they weren't going to blow the whistle until we had posession lol. Imagine if that went in, Lindy would have thrown the bench on the ice!

refs sucked, but somehow i think if the puck went in, there would have been a wave off. it's just too absurd to think that the league could stand it's own hypocrisy if they let it be a goal.
