All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!

Am I the only one that is still a little nervous?

4 points combined in 3 games between the Sabres and Carolina should not be difficult but after seeing the way the Bruins choked last night and the way the Flyers could not knock off the Rangers, it looks like the Sabres might need to win 2 of these last three to get in.

I guess the good news is that they can move to 6th tonight with a win and Montreal loss to Chicago (in regulation). They can also wrap up a spot tomorrow with a win and Carolina loss to the Red Wings tomorrow.

But damn, I just want this over and done with.

The Rangers coming back like that sucks but coming back like that against the Bruins makes it better. Now the Bruins can start on a nice down slide that lasts through the playoffs.

The Bruins didnt choke... they can never beat Henrik.

I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?"
"Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet.
You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times."
It was all true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

i'm not nervous per se, but i was kind of hoping that these last three games were going to be "light". in terms of nothing on the line.

this is probably where people apologize to OP about his squandered points posts. a couple games where the sabrse didn't lose points at the last second and they are sitting pretty.

I don't get the "lose points" thing. All teams lose points like that. The Sabres have "gained points" that way.Do they have to give them back?
