Orlando senior vice president Julius Erving will sever his six-year relationship with the club at the end of June, the Orlando Sentinel reported in Saturday's editions.
Erving will reportedly pursue other business opportunities. Erving, Magic general manager John Gabriel and club chief operation officer John Weisbrod could not be reached for comment by the newspaper.
The former 76ers legend was hired June 4, 1997 by Orlando and was basically a consultant for Orlando, according to the report.
