A fan in attendance at the Chicago game last night is claiming that Turco was placing $5 wagers with him during the game on the outcome of the game.

NHL has not released a statement on this.

Think this is serious issue? or just a fan trying to get their name in the headlines?

Non issue.

Drunk fan: "You jackasses are gonna lose"
Meathead hockey player: "No we won't!"
Drunk: "I got $5 right here that says you will!:
Meathead: "you're on!"

I'm sure the NHL will have to slap him on the wrist and give the public "we don't allow players to bet on games in any circumstances" statement, but this really is a non-issue.
