League, players to talk mediation with Judge Nelson today

Thursday's flurry of letters between the NFL and the lawyers who represent the players suing the league for, among other things, an end to the lockout will give way, apparently, to actual discussions on Friday.

Maybe in the end this entire mediation will end up like the breakfast Club... They'll all share their secrets and bare their souls and will emerge as friends

my position on the lockout is entirely based on how badly the bills botch the draft.

if there is just a super groan worthy move on the bills part where the majority of us are like, "dear god, WHY?", i will be rooting for a full one year lockout. i can't watch another 4-12 team and an offseason of "we are kind of getting better."

i need to see this defense get retooled to have a chance to be mediocre but promising.

if that's the draft they make, then i'll look for a quick solution.

Knowing that the draft is a huge revenue cash machine for the nfl they dont want the draft to be talking about a lockout... maybe something gets done a couple days before the draft and people get excited!
