Great win from a team that has really come together in the last 3+ months.Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

I really like the momentum the Sabres are carrying into the playlets. 2011 has been a great year so far for Sabres hockey from great play to the ownership change. As Van Miller said "fasten you seat belts everyone" going to be a fun ride.Comment

Last night was just about perfection for Buffalo hockey and Buffalo hockey fans - the Flyers are so hated to begin with - to get into the playoffs with a win over them is huge. Plus, a great comeback win to boot, and amazing goals by Gerbe and Vanek. And having VIP spectators like Pat LaFontaine - it was magic!
At the beginning of January, I thought the season was over. The Jersey Devils seemed to get all the press for their comeback, but Buffalo has quietly exceeded anything the Devils did.Last edited by Cleve; 04-09-2011, 09:55 AM.
