Two things make this seem really stupid. First, some may remember how interested Favre was in tutoring Aaron Rogers when Green Bay drafted him to be Favre's eventual replacement. For those who can't recall, Favre had no interest in teaching a young QB. Second, the article assumes there would actually be a team that was interested in Favre returning to the game.

why the hell would anyone waste a roster spot on someone who is clearly done. all teams even considering this would be better off looking for a QB that they can potentially groom - especially since you can never tell what a QB will amount to until they've been given adequate snaps under center. for all we know RIGHT NOW, Levi Brown could be a franchise savior.
